Terms of use

These terms govern access to the website operated by vantacd, Meerstraße 12, 31515 Wunstorf, Germany (https://vantacd.world/, info@vantacd.world, +49 5033 91840). By using the pages you accept this text. If you do not agree, please leave the site. A separate privacy policy covers personal data. A separate cookie note covers storage in your browser.

Editorial service, not a travel contract

vantacd publishes landscape essays, route descriptions and vocabulary for Lower Saxony’s lakes and flood meadows. The pages are information and opinion. They do not constitute a package travel contract, a guided-tour booking, an insurance product or a promise that a path, ferry, hide or train will be open on a given day. Distances, bus connections and seasonal bird movements change. You remain responsible for checking official nature-park rules, weather, ice, flood notices and transport operators before you travel.

Accuracy and outdoor risk

vantacd takes care when describing dikes, shallow water and wetland access, but the landscape is a working countryside with agricultural traffic, sudden wind on open water, ticks in understory, and ground that can be unstable off the boardwalk. Cycling and walking are undertaken at your own risk. vantacd is not liable for the condition of third-party paths, for closures after high water, or for decisions you take in the field. Nothing on the site is professional legal, medical or navigational advice.

Intellectual property

Texts, arrangement, logo mark and photographs as presented on vantacd.world are protected by copyright and related rights. You may download or print a copy for personal, non-commercial reading. Any other reproduction, scraping, training of models on the full text, or public reuse needs prior written consent from vantacd unless a statutory exception under German copyright law applies. Trademarks of transport companies or nature parks mentioned in the essays remain with their owners; mention is for identification in an editorial context.

Acceptable use

You may not attack the technical availability of the site, overload forms, inject malicious code, or use signup.php for anything other than a genuine newsletter request. Automated harvesting of email addresses is forbidden. vantacd may block access that threatens the service or other readers.

Third-party sites

Links to railway operators, WhatsApp or maps are provided for convenience. vantacd does not control those services and is not responsible for their content or privacy practices. The WhatsApp button opens a third-party application; email to info@vantacd.world remains the channel that stays inside ordinary mail.

Liability

vantacd is liable without limitation for intent and gross negligence, and for injury to life, body or health. For slight negligence vantacd is liable only if a cardinal duty is breached — a duty whose fulfilment makes the ordinary use of the site possible and on which you may regularly rely — and only for typical, foreseeable damage. Liability for the free editorial content is otherwise excluded to the extent permitted by German law, including the limitations that apply to telemedia providers regarding third-party information. Mandatory product-liability rules remain unaffected.

Changes

vantacd may update essays and these terms when routes, law or the editorial project change. The version published at https://vantacd.world/terms.php at the time of your visit applies. Continued use after a visible update amounts to acceptance of the new text for future visits.

Law and venue

The law of the Federal Republic of Germany applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you are a consumer resident in another EU state, mandatory protections of that state remain available. If you are a merchant, a legal person under public law or a public special fund, the courts at vantacd’s seat in Wunstorf / the district of Hanover are agreed, unless a mandatory venue applies.

Severability

If a clause is invalid, the remainder stays in force. The invalid clause is to be replaced by a valid arrangement that comes as close as possible to the economic purpose. These terms are offered in English because the guidebook is written in English; the German legal framework still applies to vantacd as a publisher established in Germany.
